Sell, Recycle, Destroy - Pick Your Asset Recovery Option

What do you do when you’re ready to get rid of your old IT equipment? You basically have three options, right? You can trash it, you can try and sell it and recover some of your investment, or you can recycle it.  You can start with Google and try typing in something like “sell my HP”, or you can come to Great Lakes Computer, and we can give you a hand with any or all of those options.

The first and the third option are the same from our perspective. We have no problem disposing of your unwanted, no-value IT equipment. We accomplish this through our partnership with an R2-Certified Recycler - Valley City. Any IT equipment that is deemed to carry little to no market value will be recycled so that it is disposed of in an environmentally-responsible manner.

As for the second option, Great Lakes Computer purchases the following equipment to stock our 30,000 sq ft integration facility: HP (ProLiant/Integrity), IBM (X/P Series), Dell (PowerEdge), Cisco, HP ProCurve, and HP, IBM and Dell storage.  Through our 27 years of market knowledge specific to the used IT hardware industry, we are able to offer aggressive pricing.

In addition to these options, we also offer hard drive erasure and/or destruction to ensure data security. Great Lakes Computer is experienced in providing these services to our customers and will provide documented confirmation in the form of a certificate of completed service.   So whether you decide to toss it or sell it, Great Lakes Computer can help with your old IT equipment.
